The Captains
Captain Wit Morris has over 20 years of boating experience on everything from 15-foot scuba boats to 70-foot sailing vessels. He is known for his friendly and laid-back personality and expert sailing skills. Before settling in Charleston, he gained extensive offshore sailing experience and traveled the world for almost a decade, working on vessels of all shapes and sizes.
Captain Morris is happy to teach you as much as you desire or show you some of his favorite sites in the harbor as you relax and enjoy your day. He is fully licensed by the USCG and is a rated Master. Captain Morris also holds an Auxiliary Sailing Endorsement, STCW-95 safety training, and the FCC Radio license. In addition, he is annually trained in CPR, First Aid, AED, Child CPR, and Child First Aid.

Captain Will Ventress became a part of our team after relocating to Charleston from St. Thomas, USVI, in the spring of 2023. We welcomed this Georgian native with his innate sense of adventure and otherworldly passion for sailing, and we are so happy that we did. Will’s love for the outdoors is vast. He discovered his passion for sailing on the infamous Lake Lanier, GA. This quickly turned into a career. After almost a decade’s worth of sailing, Will tells tales of his adventures up and down the entire East Coast and throughout most of the Caribbean as well as the Gulf of Mexico.
Capt. Will is a licensed USCG 100 Ton Master Captain. He is also trained in First Aid CPR/AED with the American Heart Association and Level IV SwiftWater Rescue with the American Canoeing Association. Will’s genuine love for the ocean and the art of sailing are tangible and bring about a lighthearted, fun, and safe way of seeing all of the sights from a different perspective.
The Crew
Mireia hails from beautiful Barcelona, Spain (in the Catalonia region). Before settling in Charleston, she traveled the world for a decade working as a crew member on various vessels of all shapes and sizes and can handle anything on a sailboat. She is accomplished in onboard safety, holding her STCW-95 safety training. In addition, Mireia receives annual training in CPR, First Aid, AED, Child CPR, and Child First Aid.

Krystal, who is originally from Iowa, has lived in Charleston, SC for the better part of two decades. While in Charleston she discovered her passion for sailing. She was captivated by the sense of peace and vitality that came from being pushed by the wind through the water and she aims to share this love of passion with each and every guests that steps onboard. She is extremely accomplished in everything onboard and an absolute joy to be around. Additionally she has received training in CPR and first aid. Working towards her captains license at the moment, she hopes to one day be sharing her passion from behind the helm, officially.
Popsicle is Llibertat’s glorified deckhand. He is a 25-pound rescue pup from St. Thomas, VI, that Mireia and Wit rescued while sailing in the Caribbean. His first day onboard was at three months old, and he’s loved the sea ever since.
Popsicle can always be found relaxing in the sun at midship or sitting in the cockpit enjoying the wind in his fur. While he cannot help set the anchor for swimming, he sure puts a smile on everyone’s face.
Kai is the newest addition to the Blue Life family. He’s been sailing as a future captain and crew member since birth in November 2020. While he may not be seen much onboard during charters, he still loves sailing with his mom and dad on days off. One day in the future maybe he will be taking guests out on the water to show the sights of Charleston!
